A licensed plumbing contractor and certified backflow testing company that's been working the San Gabriel Valley since 1978 — and plans to keep working it.
Lue Plumbing opened in 1978 the way most good trade businesses do — one licensed plumber, a truck, and a reputation that traveled by word of mouth. Decades later we've grown, but the thing that built the business hasn't changed: people call us back, and they send their neighbors.
The backflow side grew out of that. Customers kept getting notices from their water district and couldn't find someone certified to handle it properly. So we got certified, and Alhambra Backflow became the specialty half of what we do. Today we test and certify assemblies for homeowners, restaurants, medical offices, and property managers across the Valley.
We're still family-owned. When you call, you're not routing through a call center — you're talking to the people who'll actually be doing the work.
Every family business has one employee who does no measurable work and is completely irreplaceable. Ours sleeps through most of the shift and greets everyone who comes through the door.
The rest of the crew shows up on time.
Plumbing is one of the few trades where the customer usually can't verify the work themselves. That puts the burden on us to be worth trusting.
The visible symptom is often not the actual problem. We find the cause first, then price the fix — instead of replacing the easiest part and hoping.
You'll get the reasoning in language that makes sense, including what happens if you wait. No pressure, no jargon used as leverage.
Proper materials, proper installation, permits when required. A repair that fails in eighteen months costs everyone more than doing it right the first time.
Call, or send a request and we'll get right back to you.
